Vrijwilligers in de sport- en socioculturele sector kunnen een onkostenvergoeding ontvangen. Het gaat om een forfait waarvoor geen bewijsmiddelen moeten aangebracht worden. Bijkomend voordeel is dat de vrijwilliger privé niet belast wordt op die onkostenvergoeding en er geen RSZ op moet betalen.
Voorwaarde is wel dat de onkostenvergoeding een bepaald maximum niet overschrijdt. Niet-geïndexeerd gaat het om een drempelbedrag van € 24,79 per dag en € 991,57 per jaar. Het gaat voor inkomstenjaar 2023/aanslagjaar 2024 om een geïndexeerd bedrag van resp. € 40,67 en € 1.626,77 voor vergoedingen die sinds 01.01.2023 toegekend worden. In 2022 ging het nog om een bedrag van resp. € 36,84 en € 1.473,37.
